Potager is really interesting. You never know what's going to be served, and you pay what you like. They always have some sort of quiche, and usually have plenty of gluten free options for people. There's often live music, and if you can find room, the service is cheerful and prompt. You essentially get in line and they serve up... More

Disappointed. Very limited menu with only quiche and green salad. The quiche was over done. I had a pear tart for dessert. The serving was small and overpriced. I don't plan to go back.

This restaurant is no longer open for business. The portions were small and you were encouraged to 'donate' money for the food. Guess this didn't work out very well...

While you never know what you'll get when you go here, you do know it will be good and they will have something that you'll love.

The four of us (friends) found Potager charming. Three of us ordered the "little bit of everything" which was more than enough food. Each dish was nicely prepared with healthy ingredients. The pay what you want concept is unusual here in TX. There is a very small staff who were all cordial. The restaurant is moving nearby in the near... More

Have eaten there a few times. Food very good but... saw something that I should not repeat! Very dirty and unhealthy. Brought it to the attention of the chef and he shrugged and walked away... We looked around and saw other areas of health concerns so we walked out immediately. Very disappointed!!

My friend and I arrived fairly early for lunch, so there was plenty of food. Everything looked delicious, but both of us ended up with a vegetable quiche, kale with macaroni and cheese and a salmon salad. The portions were, opposed to most American res-taurants, small. We managed to eat everything on our plate and then had a slice of... More

Not much to look at from outside. But don't judge a book by its cover. You choose the price, they don't even like to make too much of a suggestion. French food, local produce, whatever is available on that day. They may not know until they begin to cook it. Portions are small, as they ask you to make sure... More

This is a fantastic small restaurant. The entire dinning experience is friendly relaxed and always delicious. You feel like you are just having lunch at a friends' house. Their tossed salad is simply the best! They use an honor system for paying - you pay what you think it is worth and let me tell you it is worth it!... More

Potager is a "name your own price" café. The food is based on what is in season. You are asked to start with a little, and you can always come back for more. The management strives to limit wasted food. We've always enjoyed the fare. Be advised that it can get crowded, and the place is small. Going back for... More

Local and fresh ingredients highlighted. Different menu daily, based on available local market. Fabulous food. Small place. Come early or risk missing a taste of everything. It's a "pay what you think it's worth" kind of place. Recent visit, there was slow-braised beef, couscous with fresh herbs and lemon, mushroom and gruyere quiche, roasted root vegetables, and a killer beet and sweet potato soup. Delicious!
