If you are not used to this non-nonsense, don't care attitude, you would think the service stinks. But this is typical for real Chinese restaurants. They took your order and brought you your food. What more do you want? The concept of pleasantries is unknown to them. Don't take it personally. Also, unless you are Asian, they expect you to... More

We've been eating oriental food in the metroplex for 30 years and 1st BBQ has been the best we've had. Quick service, fresh food, the very best Chinese food. Flat noodles is my favorite, but all the dishes are five star.

The place only accepts cash. The bathroom was dirty. The seating was confusing. No one seated me. I had to find my own seat. One of the waitress, maybe owner was serving and eating at the area. Staff is unprofessional. The menu had too many items and it's very confusing. I ordered wanton soup and BBQ duck with white rice.... More

First off, cash only and stick with their recommended dishes. Anything on their BBQ and marinated meat section is great - especially the duck and pork, The duck like all their foods is not americanized - that is fatty with lots of skin and bones. Stay away from the soups if you do not like the taste of fish sauce.... More

The helpings are huge! the food actually tastes great and me not being an avid fan of chinese food i actually enjoyed the food. i must recommend eating the duck, or even orange flavored chicken. make sure you have enough people to eat with because 1 plate could easily be eaten between 2 people. The only downside is they only... More

Everything here is served family style so you need to bring a group so you can share and explore. You may have thought you've eaten Chinese Food before, but this is the real deal and far superior to any Chinese restaurant you may have tried before. We like to start with the Shrimp Won Ton soup. We always order the... More

This is not a place for "atmosphere". It is a Chinese restaurant like we visited in China. Cash only is the only issue. We've visited half dozen times in the last 3 months. WonTon soup is the best with shrimp in the wontons. We ate the soup but wontons were left so the server grabbed the bowl, said we needed... More

We are from Washington, DC and visiting Fort Worth. Our cousins took us here and it was great! We arrived at 7PM on a Wed and only 4 tables occupied but filled up quickly by 8 pm. We had hot & sour soup (very good); Chinese Brocolli with oyster sauce (crisp); roast duck (tasty & not too fatty); steamed chicken... More
