Saw their menu and one dish really intrigued me so went on Thanksgiving day. It's always a good sign when most of the customers were chinese. I didn't know they served dim sum as well....gotta try next time. The dish I ordered "spicy chicken", was bad as it did not match what I expected..but, that was my fault as I... More

Yes, the name may mislead you - and it is good it is not Shanghai food, which is rather bland in reality Instead, this restaurant serves Sichuan food - and they do a great job in doing that! Plenty of dishes to try - if you like lamb - they offer great sizzling lamb dish....and much more.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Austin. The waitresses are always so helpful. Tpnight we got the wonderful steamed dumpling which I would get again, and the beef lo mein. The food was very tasty and they did not rush us out of the door at 10 pm when we were still eating. Great dim sum as well.

If you come early and brave the long wait, you'll have a better chance of getting what you want to eat. Came here Sunday Apr 17 at 1PM, most items were gone. There were three carts going around with stuff nobody wants. No more xui main, no more chinese broccoli, etc. The fried stuff on the dessert cart were cold.... More

We went here for lunch with friends. Having lived in China for some time I am picky about Chinese food and have different expectations from most. This was very true to a Hong Kong tea house for the most part. Food was great. We have the chicken feet, shanghai soup dumplings, pork ribs, sesame balls, shrimp xiao mai, crab dumplings,... More

Enjoyed the place very much. The decoration, even though it is missing some letters in the outside name, do not hesitate and go in. L shaped place , but very comfortable and ample. We were there for Dim Sum, and it maybe is one of the best in Austin, the variety is large and the service of the ladies is... More

Went there for lunch on a Saturday Labor Day weekend. Restaurant looked old. Service was slow n took them forever to bring us some maionaise to eat with the shrimp cheese puffs which are very salty. Xiu mai wasn't good. The charxiu steam cake was bad. Stir fried noodles was salty too. Only the soup dumplings tasted ok but cold

Arriving from Houston and reading online yelp the food review. Thinking it would be better, but service is slow ,the waiter and waitress you have to keep on asking to get what you want or need. Food is ok and not hot. Unless u order from the menu. Which we had to do at the end

I have had dim sum all over the world and Shanghai is as good any. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for Sunday morning.
