As soon as we walked in there, the vibe was odd. The hostess never had a smile on her face. When I asked for a fork she brought them, but just tossed them in the container. I observed some of her behavior, she smiled towards others. I want to say I think experience my first racists act. She seemed totally... More

I've been to Elizabeth Street Café several times, now, over a number of years. I'll admit, when it first opened, the employees were typically (for Austin) too cool for school. Having just revisited twice over the past week, I will say, I'm s big fan. The food feels cleaner than ever, the service is warm and attentive. While I can't... More

My sister took me here the other night because she was craving their fried shrimp and sweet potatoes. This was a sweet little restaurant, very pretty and cute, everything you would want in a south Austin local spot. A little pricey , but the servings are pretty generous. I had that pho with chicken. I want to come back to... More

We stopped at this small and very attractive restaurant for a snack of excellent croissants and coffee which was served graciously to us even though most patrons were having dinner. This is primarily a Vietnamese restaurant and bakery, and while we didn't taste any of the soups or pho that we saw at other tables, that looked so appetizing that... More

Absolutely love Elizabeth Street Cafe. The Bahn Mi, Bun, Vermicelli springrolls and dumplings are absolutely delish.

The french toast was amazing. The macarons were also very good. I had breakfast pho which was very good esecially with the poached egg in it.

This cafe is super quaint and great place to take friends/family! Cute and has an assortment of foods. The ban mi was fantastic and the almond pastry was everything I wanted it to be. Definitely recommend this place!

This charmingly designed restaurant is part French bistro, part South Pacific beachside cafe, and a half-portion of Palm Springs thrown in for flair. All together, these components make for a most lovely dining experience. The menu is inspired from the intersection of cuisines born from France's colonial occupation of Vietnam. Typically, Vietnamese cuisine has discrete vestiges of French cooking from... More

Visiting family in Austin who recommended this small delightful cafe for breakfast. The Nutella and banana crepe was delicious as was the fried egg and pork breakfast Bahn Mi. And the Vietnamese coffee was fantastic! Service was cheerful, prompt and helpful. Would definitely eat here again!
