Tried the tuna melt and shared an order of the gingerbread pancakes with bananas. Oh my these are great. This is one place I would eat breakfast for lunch. Excellent food!

We visited later in the evening so our table had a mix of breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees. All were good. This was a suggestion one of our local friends--his favorite place for breakfast. My fish tacos were great, my friend loved his chicken sandwich, and I was coveting my other friend's wheel-cover sized pancakes what were hot and crisp!... More
We enjoyed brunch here. I ate tilapia with spinach and my husband tried the mexican fare. Very good steak taco with wonderful fresh beer. Very special atmosphere, mix of students and others.
Stopped here for breakfast and was lucky to grab a spot. I always drive by and it's always packed. I stopped for breakfast on a rainy day and was lucky to find place to sit with no wait. The food was delicious with a variety of traditional and Tex-mex food. I shall return...
We met some local friends here and they said they always take visitors here because it is the best breakfast. It was busy on the Thursday we were there about 9am. I can see that it could bet crazy. They had omelet selections I had never seen before. I asked my friends what they recommended and they both answered in... More
I love the Magnolia !! I travel to Austin to visit family a couple times a year. I never miss out on the Magnolia (I chose the one on Lake Austin BLVD, but both are fabulous dives!! The food is good and cheap, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It is a local place, and full of Weird Austin!! I love... More
They area always open so no need to look up their hours. Set up is a little odd with seating on either side of the restaurant, but the kitchen in the middle. Extremely casual place, family friendly, and very busy on the weekends for all meals. The staff stayed busy during brunch and service was either rushed or non-existent. Dont... More
Good breakfast choices and they tasted great too. We got the traditional eggs, bacon, pancakes as well as the Flaco taco that is eggs, bacon, cheese and avocado. Lots of tex mex choices too. Service was attentive and we went at 9am on a Sunday morning without a wait! There’s a hostess stand at the top of the stairs where... More
Magnolia is another one of the Austin Local places. It, like other restaurants, specialises in breakfast food and tex mex. The Migas are a favourite of mine. Their coffee is nice, and the staff are efficient and kind. Make sure you come ready to wait for Breakfast, at peak times it can get very busy. For two people with tip,... More
Google suggested the Magnolia Cafe as one of the top 10 for queso in Austin. Texans love some queso and salsa ;) This quirky cafe did not disappoint! The menu has an eclectic assortment of options. I got the cheese enchiladas and chose the queso for the sauce (there were several options, but I just went for it!). Soooo good.... More
