Everyone did not finish their meals. Way too much salt. So food lacked any other compelling flavors. Order water pitchers if you proceed here. Took 30 mins to get bread ... they kept saying "we're making it fresh" (as if it was a surprise that their dinner crowd might be coming at 7:30p - and the place was only about... More

First the pros, the staff are polite and the restaurant is clean and comfortable, but the food is just mediocre without any discernible flair, just a heavy handed amateurish attempt at Italian food. Please if you have any respect for Italian or indeed any good food avoid. There are far better and cheaper places to eat in Austin. The faux... More

Here’s the recap. We sat down and were immediately served bread and water. The bread was pretty good. The water was, um, water. And then our waiter went full magician and disappeared for the next 40 minutes before we could even order. So we walked out (leaving a small amount to cover our “prison vittles”). So I can’t tell you... More

I love how beautiful this place looks--takes you back to Italy. I have enjoyed two meals there in the past 3 months and can't wait to go back. Their lemonade is the best blend of sweet and tart--my favorite EVER! The salads are fresh, tasty and simple ( I mean that in a good way, sometimes restaurant in trying to... More

I would give Sienna three stars but the ambience pulled it up one mark. I do not recall dining in a more beautifully appointed restaurant interior: very classic and classy Old World European charm, intimate setting, perfect ambient lighting. The wine list is extensive but overpriced. The menu is similarly diverse but again overpriced: consider that the most basic salad... More

In town for a wedding, my generous friends took me out to dinner here last Saturday. We had a fantastic meal. I started off with the "Fricassea con Granchio e Porri" which is lump crab meat served on a portobello mushroom with sautéed leeks and sundried tomatoes and it was DIVINE. Then I had the "Salsicci" pasta which was perfection:... More

Very good fare. A bit expensive but worth it for a celebration or special meal. Our waiter was well prepared to explain any items on the menu and the wine list was execellent

Just wonderful. Started the evening with a gin fizz. For the main course had the Trout with walnut. Really good.

I went several times at Siena with my husband, so I like it, the menu is not as Italian as I expected but still very tasty. I am just a little disappointed that in this price range kind of restaurant, all the pasta are not handmade...and as every restaurant in this US they poor a full glass of wine in... More

My son and I had a very good dinner at Siena. The place reminds me of the places I have been to in Tuscany. The food was delicious and the wine superb. The service was very professional. I had the veal chop. It was huge. This is the only place in Austin I have found that serves Veal Chop. My... More
