A proper burger joint, we enjoyed it here. Quick, friendly service- beers, burgers and fries. Fries are enough to share- good and crisp. Thin patty burgers, we went for the double which is a must. Onion, pickle, mustard and tomato. All worked.

There's something special about your first experience at Dirty's. There certainly was about mine, which is what keeps me coming back 33 years after my first visit. They might not know your name, but they can tell by your demeanor if you've been there before. Veterans all have a knowing look, fraught with anticipation. Rookies are starry eyed and bewildered... Ah, Dirty Martin's Kum-Bak Burgers. This place is old school and wonderful. By that, I mean it's old and it's near the school and the burgers are delish. It's still the only place in town where I can have two in one sitting. Tots to go with it. Beer, wine, great atmosphere and service. Established in 1926, which for some... More

In the era of neuvo cuisine where everything is being 'reinterpreted' (usually meaning 'ruined') great burgers stand alone and the Pickens' stand there with them. Some things don't need reinterpreting, they are perfect as they exist, as I was reminded on Wednesday. Okay, the foie gras burger at Daniel Boulud's bistro in NYC might argue against existing perfection. But discounting... More

The hamburgers are good. The locations is close to the capitol and other government offices that make it perfect for a quick business lunch. Service is fast and clean.

I'd heard this was "the place" to go after a UT football game. I imagine drunk Texans know a good burger so I thought I should try. While the inside is a tad...dingy(?) the food is fantastic. Maybe the decor is part of the old school allure. Anyway, the burger was perfectly greasy and the bun had that great butter... More

We expected "greasy spoon" type food from this place and weren't disappointed. What was disappointing was the service on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We sat at the bar inside and two people bickered over who would be our server. When my drink was delivered after five minutes it contained a large bug in it. I asked for a replacement and... More

For a family of five you can not beat the price. Most of your average burgers are less than five dollars. Sides are cheap as well. They do serve beer on tap. Limited seating inside. First time we ate there the onion rings were fabulous. Second time nkt so good. We were to they had a new cook and wanted... More

The place, especially for students, to get a great, nasty burger with excellent fries and at a low cost. I went here many times as a student and returned again to see if anything had changed. Nope! Just plant yourself down and order a burger all the way and don't forget to get the stinky onions and some jalapeñoI s... More

Best burger I've eaten in a while. Very friendly service. Easy location to find. They also have the best bread pudding ever!
