Don't let the somewhat dodgy appearance fool you! Behind the "hole in the wall" entrance and the rocked out guys who check your ID even if you're well past 40, is probably the best burgers in Austin, served in an oasis of a backyard, including a fountain. If you visit during lunch, there can be a bit of a wait,... More

Stopped in for a bite to eat and a drink before going to a late Esther Follies show. It was right around the corner and recommended by a local. The environment was unique. There were people of all ages and styles! It is a bar with an upstairs and an outside eating area. It was a little dingy and dark.... More

I went to have lunch. The place is dark, we have to go, ask and pay your food. Not a beautiful place. Bit the burguer is really big and good!

Try respecting a place whose staff literally said, "I don't care about Germany." This establishment is full of disrespectful people degrading other countries to protect their business. bouncers have no patience, and no focus is placed on customer service. Hostile employees looking for a reason to do their job and wrongfully asking people to leave isn't anyone's fault but your... More

Hamburger was great, a bit large but good. I didn't get any French fries cause I knew it would be a lot.

This place doesn't look like much. In fact it's downright uncomfortable if you prefer casual to upscale dining. But we were recommended this place so we gave it a try. Soooo happy to report that their food is worth the atmosphere. Everything was literally cooked fresh, to-order. We tried the Pitts Burger, Chili Cheese Fries and Chicken Sandwich with Bacon.... A bartender on the strip recommended going here for a burger. I ordered what the cook recommended which was the Amarillo Burger and fries. It was excellent!!!! Crazy music being played. Jazz, Wizard of Oz, to something that sounded like a 1950's western movie. Don't know who was in control, but was a wide variety. Oh yeah, Dixie music too.

First let me say that I absolutely loved this place and would go back in a minute. Killer food and great service. The music was edgy punkish music and the place itself had an 80's unpolished punk vibe. Servers bring you drinks only. You order your food at the kitchen and they yell your name when it's ready. Not a... More

Finally I can removed that faded out bookmark for this venue. There's a Bloody Mary heat scale, 3 to 10. I ordered the #3 and after the first sip, I realized it was entirely too mild so I asked our server if it could be kicked up a notch or two and she said that it would not be an... More

Sit out back so you can see who you are eating with, but enjoy the strangeness and funky style of the inside....great hamburgers!
