Ambience is lively, wall art is attractive, service is good, and food is awesome! I wish they had more of a coffee variance, nonetheless, this place is a "got to go to" spot!

Arturo's underground cafe is a secret place every time I find it... tucked away on 17th I always randomly find it... cool underground seating and some outside tables - very cool waiters and the most delicious breakfast - other stuff too but I have only eaten breakfast here... th benedicts are scrumptious! Go find it now!!
This is quintessential Austin eccentric. A cool small spot with a sunken dining area and a few tables outside on the sidewalk. Casual atmosphere. Order at the counter when you walk in. Serve yourself your own coffee/tea/water. Grab a number and your food will be delivered after it is cooked to order. I had the Migas breakfast taco and the... More
Stopped here after a night on sixth street. The perfect hang over food! Delicious combos and a fun Austin ambiance. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Everything was tasty and we enjoyed checking out the diverse artwork and decor in their dining rooms downstairs.
Breakfast at Arturo's Underground did not disappoint! The food was great, coffee was hot and prices were fair. Hubs and brother had chorizo and eggs, served with black beans and home fries. They were happy with the choice. I had The Works taco filled with meat, eggs, cheese and potatoes and $3 bucks and change it was filling and delicious!
This places offers tacos and other breakfast options. They have lunch also but we did not try that. Order at the counter, seating is downstairs. I had two tacos and my husband had a breakfast sandwich. Decor is quirky. We would definitely go back.

But, the menu is fresh and interesting, the staff are nice and just a few steps away is a large basement dining area for you and... More
Sunday morning brunch was delicious. Many great choices on the menu. Texas eggs in a basket was so yummy on the jalapeño cheese bread. Small quaint restaurant with super friendly and welcoming employees! Would definitely come back the next time I'm in Austin.
