This is a quaint little house turned into a restaurant. Not loud, wait staff is awesome. There is a very large selection of wines to choose from. I wish I had known about this place sooner.

The staff and the food were amazing. While not able to accommodate a gluten allergen they were very open, honest and accommodating. I could not recommend this place higher. So happy with the food and the care they took of us as customers.

This Brick Oven is not related to the ones on Red River and Arboretum so it's a little gem in Central Market; close to businesses and neighborhoods. From salads to pizza to pastas you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I love their Basil Pesto Fettuccini and my husband adores the Eggplant Parmesan. The have a nice wine... More

I met family in Austin and we searched for a quiet spot close to the hospital (Seton) we were visiting. Siri showed the Brick Oven on 35th, so we headed there. It is a converted house and has multiple rooms. It was nice to be in a small room so we could visit with a low overall noise level. The... More

First thing to note is that there is more than one Brick Oven in Austin. This particular little neighborhood restaurant has remained unchanged over many years. It's intimate and serves good pasta at affordable prices. Sadly, it is woefully short on help. Two servers on Mother's Day was about two too short. Nevertheless, the food is flavorful (lots of peppery... More

We went to Brick Oven a couple of weeks ago. It is in our neighborhood and we were happy to go to a local restaurant nearby. We love Italian food, and it is in an old house and cozy so we thought we would enjoy the meal. My husband ordered the lasagna, which is such standard fare we thought it... More

While the parking is somewhat confusing for this little Brick Oven location, we found that the staff were friendly and the service was attentive. We were attracted by their gluten-free menu. The gluten-free white pizza (which we ordered as an appetizer) for our party of two gluten-free and two non-gluten-free diners was tough and tasteless. The two different gluten-free pasta... More

Wonderful little place with authentic homemade food! The scent of the brick oven greets you at the door. The bread is perfect and fresh. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area looking for a good bite to eat!

I do not normally like eating Italian food at restaurants, but I make an exception for Brick Oven. This restaurant has been in the neighborhood for forever and is a staple. I love all of their salad dressings. Their Caesar salad is exceptionally good. I also really like their pesto. Sizes are large enough to bring some food home for... More
