A large bowl of cherry vanilla and Mexican vanilla ice cream with Oreo and waffle bits all mixed in. Really good, and the price was ok. It was 7+ for a large bowl. I would come back here again.

Amy's is a family tradition for us. The ice cream is great. The format is plain flavors with lots of mixins you can choose from. So, you can get coffee with oreos or heath bar or cookie dough or all three. In addition, they have several premade interesting flavors, several of which feature liquor or beer. For those who love... Great location on 6th and Lamar. The ice cream is delicious and homemade. You are right next to waterloo records as well, so you can get a two-for on Austin Originals by coming here. Must do.

Every time we drive into Austin, we have to stop at Amy's. We're glad there are multiple locations. The one on South Lamar has the shortest lines and the best seats, with the cleanest tables.

When in Austin I highly recommend getting ice cream at Amy's. It's a fun place with unique choices. The ice cream is really creamy and delicious. The servers are friendly and helpful. They add to the experience.

Love seeing the ice cream mix prepared in front of me. Friendly staff and a great price. Tip. if you don't like your ice cream too sweet try the Just Vanilla.

The ice cream was fantastic. But please do not blurt out the answer to the question. Woo that does not make them happy. I was shown mercy because I was wrong. Cool little joint and ice cream and toppings were good.

Ice cream is prepared on a marble slab (I believe that is what it is) and you can make your own combinations. Due to the preparation time, this is not a place you want to rush into if you have limited time as each order takes a while for them to prepare. We had 6 in our group, so by... More

It doesn't matter how many times we have been, we never get sick of Amy's! Such amazing flavors and toppings! Malted Vanilla and Mexican Vanilla are our two favorites. And on a hot day, it is a great place to get our of the heat and into AC :) Highly recommend!

Been to a lot of Ice cream shops and this may have topped them all. Not only was the Ice cream top quality in flavor and texture. The toppings were excellent. Along with that the names for their conncotions were fun and goofy. Add to all that was the character behind the counter. I am not sure how to describe... More
