I've always wanted to try katsudon, so I ate here while on a business trip to Austin. The food was very good!! The overall atmosphere was very relaxed, and I enjoyed my visit. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Austin.

There are all sorts of choices at this modestly sized place and, despite several visits, I haven't tried nearly all of them. I have liked the dishes I've tried very much, teriyaki salmon, curry, miso soup and potstickers among them (not the sushi, although other...More
This is my go to for fresh Ramen, Yakisoba or Tempura. They do all three with finesse. The Ramen has a homemade broth and really good imported noodles. The tempura is perfectly crisp, and the yakisoba is Japanese comfort food. Great food on a budget...More
We picked Banzai Sushi & Grill because reviews looked good and they were open between lunch and dinner when we wanted to eat. We are glad we chose Banzai! Food was very good. We tried the Red Curry, Pork Katsudon, and Tempura Udon entrees. All...More
The ramen was the highlight for us. The miso soup was also tasty. The shrimp plate was tasty but a few more tempura vegetables would have made it fantastic. The only bad thing was the cleanliness the tables were dirty and there wasn't anyone cleaning...More
Visited Banzai with family. One orders food on arrival, from an extensive menu, and it is brought to you at the table. My wife and I had the day special which was red curry, chicken for my wife and tofu for me. It came with...More
Upon entering Bonzai, I was not impressed by the ambiance of the restaurant. The food is overpriced for its quality. The approximately $10 Beef Yakisoba was not worth it. There was very little beef on the plate and the dish felt almost like an appetizer....More
Banzai offers good sushi at fair prices. We enjoyed four different rolls and edamame beans. Everythings was delicious and especially the shrimp tempura roll was outstanding. Totally recommendable. We had take out food so I can't say anything about the atmosphere or the service.
