We were on the hunt for a coffee shop while we were visiting Austin. Saw Mozart's on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. We both had the Mocha Special, and it was very good. Sat out on the deck and enjoyed the view.

We realized Mozart's is a popular destination by the size of the parking area across the street. We remember WHY it's popular each time we need a brief 'getaway.' As others have described the food is great, fresh, and coffee is WONDERFUL. But it's the ambience, the views, tables overlooking the river or right beside it. We attended, brought friends,... More

while we didn't go here on a date, that was what came to mind. if I were a young, hip single in town, I would find this venue adorable and romantic. we actually ducked into this place because it was a rainy and cold day. instead of going to Mont Bonnell and checking out the great views up there, Mozart... We found out this coffee spot late but decided to visit it anyway. We were so pleased with it. The coffee cup is just between you and the water and the hill is filled up your vision.

We had breakfast at this lovely Lakeside self service cafe, on the lake. Bakery choices looked delicious, we had butter croissants and peppermint tea . Wi-fi available and seems to attract lots of people who sit "Starbucks" style doing work on laptops. Unlike most places, no one bothers you and your visit truly becomes timeless. A must for an Austin... More

The reason this place gets four stars rather than five is because it's quite tricky to get a seat outside with the beautiful lake views. It does get crowded, so prepare to share a table, and accept the possibility that if you're visiting at peak times (weekends, lunch, you know the score) it may be somewhat tricky full stop. The... Great coffee in a great atmosphere on Lake Austin. They have awesome pastries that go great with your coffee. There is indoor and outdoor seating which is great. WiFi access inside and out!

I love the feel of this place. It overlooks the river, has lots of outdoor seating (and some indoor), and the drinks were good.

Mozart's coffee is a very "new age" type coffee shop, one might say hipster. The coffee is to die for, as well as their homemade pastries. They also have coffee beans, pre-ground or unground, whichever you prefer. Their coffee beans are fantastic. It was quite cold when I went, but that did not waver the experience of the lights. There... More
