Updated review: A return visit while passing through the area. Full house but wait for a table was less than 10 minutes. The live music was a pleasant surprise. Food was excellent as before. Locally brewed Fazzy Ale was also very good, a dark ale with nice roasted malt finish and creamy head and mouth feel similar to a good... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Bone Fire. We shared a half rack of ribs and a half chicken. It was good. We love that you can chose your sauces from the sauce bar. I would say the best thing about the restaurant was the service. The server, Jessica, was amazing. Friendly, cheerful and so helpful. We watched the whole staff... More

Interesting old building right down town. Had a two meat dinner plate with pork and beef brisket, slaw, collards. Pulled pork was perfect, but the brisket was a little on the chewy side. Good flavor, just a bit too tough for me. Collards had great flavor, but they don't de-stem their greens and you end up with a lot of... More

We have a 2nd home on this area and enjoy trying the local eateries . We value Trip Advisor"s site and always use it as our guide when choosing. The location of this restaurant is the old eatery call The Hardware Store (sadly now closed). We arrived at lunch time to find only a few tables occupied - not very... More

We told the server and he returned it...still came back the same! Also, bright the wrong food first time. Sad...food was tasty, but when they serve collar green it would be nice to "Heat them up"! Would not return! Place has poor lighting making it somewhat dreary inside, even thought a historic old hardware store. Disappointing.

My wife and I came out to the Bonefire when we learned our favorite local jazz combo was playing on Saturday night. The food was wonderful and the dining experience was exceptional. Of course we really enjoyed the music. Definitely give them a try.

This was such a neat restaurant in an old hardware store. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. My husband loved the ribs and I was able to put together a vegetarian meal of baked beans (delicious!) mac n cheese and broccoli salad. We were happily surprised that there was a band that night and our waitress was so very friendly.

What to order: The portabella mushrooms! Yes, it's a BBQ place, but trust me on this one..they are to die for! My pulled pork sandwich was moist and flavorful. They have a BBQ sauce bar and the ones I tried (Memphis, Peach, BlackBerry) were very good. The baby potatoes were delicious. My corn fritters were undercooked. 😒 Which was disappointing... More

Had the corn fritter as an appetizer shared with four people. They were excellent. My wife and I shared three meat two sides. We had the pulled pork (excellent), brisket ( very good very tender), ribs ( a little dry but good flavor). For the sides we had the broccoli salad ( very good I would recommend), baby brown potatoes... More

The barbecue is moist and well flavored with smoke. The sauce bar ranges from traditional Memphis style which is mild up to very hot with a berry based one and peach chipolte in the middle range of heat. I had pulled pork platter with broccoli salad that was very good. The baked beans were a bit thick and lack luster.... More
