One of the top BBQ places in the DC area. Also a nice bar scene. In the lovely setting of Del Ray. Worth coming!

Went here for a snack and a beverage. We tried the pork nachos. It was nacho chips, pulled pork, cole slaw, and BBQ sauce. They were good and I would order them again. We did ask for the jalapenos to be on the side.
The Pork Barrel BBQ restaurant/bar has some of the best tasting pulled pork and sliced brisket in the Northern VA area! Try the Pick 2 Meal - it's at a good price $14.95. Comes with your choice of 2 meats, 2 sides and cornbread. I...More

Sad to say that this restaurant was below average for DC barbecue area food and service. An unenthusiastic bartender told us that the place did not specialize in cocktails... okay fair enough. When we asked for recommendations on barbecue choices, again, a complete lack of...More
Great pulled pork, burnt ends and white chicken chili, must try their spicy monster macaroni and cheese and cole slaw made with bell peppers. I'm getting hungry just thinking about this!
