It was a big family dinner to celebrate my husband's promotion and we went with a recommendation from friends. I made a reservation in the beginning of the week and we were seated promptly after arriving. We were seated in the dining room next to where the kids can sit and eat and our table was wedged into the corner.... More

Always loved this place, in fact I have gone there for 25 years....HOWEVER...we went on Christmas Eve and the experience was horrible. Not only did the food take forever to get to the table, but my husband got sick within hours of eating the seafood pasta. Husband was very sick for 24 plus hours and it was not a bug.... More

We came for dinner on the last Friday in December and found the dining room uncrowded. Most of the diners were on the live music side of the restaurant. We were hungry and were glad to be seated quickly. We ordered one of their brick oven wood fired pizzas (the Paradiso) for an appetizer. The crust was thin with a... More

We go to Paradiso all the time when dining with friends with young kids. The food is reliably good -- the menu has been updated in the last couple of years to add more choices that aren't your basic "pasta with red sauce." The veal scallopine with lemon and capers is particularly good. One of the best kept secrets about... More

Just got back from brunch with some friends at Paradiso. It was good- not great but good and we had a nice time. I know people like to see a million things for a brunch buffet, and there were. I would scale back by about 40% all around and it would be perfect and they would be able to control... More

So much to praise at Paradiso. Danielle, our server, was "Top of the Line." Began with a baked Mussels dish with sweet onions in a buttery sauce- tremendous. Chicken with artichokes and capers was delicious and perhaps the only time I ever got more than enough capers! Coconut gelato concluded my great dining experience. Once again, they didn't scrimp on... More

It has been a while since our last visit, but we were glad we decide to return. The veal, chicken and pasta were very well prepared and was a delight to our pallets.

We started with risotto appetizer which after being fried still had a creamy texture and loved the added green pea thought. The bread came with garlic knots and a basil pisto not pesto because of no pine nuts which is good with me, pine nuts have a rubber aftertaste that I don't enjoy. Moved on to the brick oven pizza... Paradiso Ristorante has been part of Alexandria's culture for over 20 years. We have had the pleasure of cooking for thousands of friends and families over the years and hope to continue the tradition for a long time to come. We are a family run restaurant and enjoy cooking recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation.

The unique services and meals Paradiso provides are the pillars to the restaurants success. Tony and Julia Amato have been passionate about providing the community with an extraordinary Italian meal and a one of a kind dining experience. With services like their Supervised Children's Dining Area, their reputable and astounding Sunday Brunch, professional Catering services and a Lounge that features live bands with no cover charge, it's not hard to believe they have clients who have been dining with them for the 20+ years they've been open.

From the staff to the exceptional decor, Paradiso is a restaurant for everyone.
Ourdining room setting always feels serene no matter how crowded it gets. The design is eclectic and comfortable, with an air of elegance. Partitioned into a few small rooms, the place provides a homey atmosphere no matter where you sit. Paradiso's interior - natural barn wood, stain glass windows, portraits, topical paintings and posters, elegant mirrors and soft lighting - is an appropriate one for an Italian restaurant whose food is extraordinarily delicious.

If you've dined with us recently, we hope to see you again soon! If you've never dined with us before, come give us a try! We guarantee you leave with a satisfied belly and a smile on your face...It's the only way to leave an Italian kitchen.

From our family to yours...Buon Appetito!
