I was just introduced to the place. The veggies and fried tofu were delicious. The other plates at our table looked equally awesome. Will be back soon!

Our go to restaurant when we fly out of DCA at dinner (or early dinner!) time. Easy to find near security at the airport, the sushi is constantly great. Of course, this is not Nobu with a lot of fancy sushi roll combinations but Matsutake menu is good and offers all the traditional sushi, sashimi and maki. Your food arrives... More

Matsutake sits next to security in the center of Reagan National Airport. The fish is fresh, nicely prepared and quite tasty. Tempura was very good, as well. I have eaten here several times, and in the one at Dulles, as well, with no complaints.

This place is just next to security at Ronald Reagan airport. Eating sashimi at an airport - mad, right? However, needs must and - Whoa! It's wonderful - huge chunks of very fresh fish. We're not innovating here, just doing it perfectly. I was genuinely shocked.

Landing at National and don't want to cook / eat out? Get the take-out. Well prepared and properly packed including a small cup for the soy sauce packets. Even after traveling and sitting in the refrigerator the sushi rolls and nigiri were very tasty.

Overall a few good experience and surprisingly good Japanese food considering their captive audience. I will go back next time I have a layover.

Been here WAY too many times. It is at DCA outside security. Great staff, and food is fresh and beautifully prepared. It is a planned stop if schedule allows!

I read very good reviews on trip advisor about this place and so on my last day in DC, I went for it. The food is very good. Please try the seaweed salad, you will love it. Ingredients are very fresh and everything prepared wonderfully. Having said that...wow are the portions small and wow is it not cheap for the... More

I just passed through security and was resigned to having some of the airline club fare, when I happened past this restaurant. I thought, "another sushi place in a restaurant." But it caught my eye, and I noticed a sushi counter and chef in the back. So I checked out the menu and was very impressed. I had a seat,... More
