My daughter and I ordered a salad described as containing asparagus, salmon, mango, corn and spring greens. The asparagus came as a few strands, the salmon was smoked and sparse and there were very few greens. The bill with a tip came to $40! There was not enough food to keep a squirrel alive. We will most definitely not return... More

Six of us went to this restaurant for Mother's Day. The first thing we realized upon arriving is that there are 2 steps to get into the restaurant and no handicapped ramps readily accessible. Our wheelchair guest had to come in a side door and past many tables in a sun room in order to get into the dining room.... More

We eat here fairly frequently and thought it might be a good place for Mother's Day lunch. These was a prix fixe that some of us chose, and the rest chose two appetizers to make a meal. The charcuterie and cheese plates were abundant and interesting, the arugula salad was a little skimpy, the lamb was fine. I had crab-stuffed avocado... More

I found the waiter pushing us to order more than we needed. As a result we had food and wine left at a considerable cost. Very heaving handed treatment of the soft shelled crabs masked the subtlety of this dish. Too bad ! Negative experience all around!

The atmosphere, the food, and the staff have been consistently good. One of my friends always wants us to go here when she is in town. It is her favorite restaurant in the whole world. I imagine that I would eat there at least once a week if I could.

I have been here a few times for lunch and each time I am impressed with the quality of the food, and the friendliness of the staff. The Prix Fix menu is a very good buy. The Lunch menu is extensive from sandwiches to salads to full meals. My friends have sampled so many items and we have never been... More

This restaurant has been a long-term favorite for rendezvous with my family, friends and business colleagues. It was so sad when Monsieur Campet passed away: he was always beautifully dressed and welcomed people with warmth and his exquisite manners. Also a long-term favorite, but with a very different feel, was La Mediterranee in Great Falls headed by Chef Jacques Imperato.... More

This traditional French restaurant has been in its present location for more than 30 years, with one ownership change, but the quality seems consistent. The service seemed a bit inexperienced on our recent visit but a small issue was resolved quickly and quite satisfactorily by the manager. Our table sampled everything from the steak tartar to the bouillabaisse to the... More

My wife and I went to celebrate the birth of a grandchild Saturday evening and it was busy. La Cote D'Or isn't huge but it has always delivered well. You can imagine being in a small village in the Loire Valley or the Left Bank. From the first flute of champagne to the last cup of fresh coffee, the food... More

We've been long time diners at all of Chef Jacques Imperato's restaurants he's owned over the years here in Arlington and Great Falls, Virginia. Our best Christmas present for 2016 was Chef Jacques becoming the new owner of Cote d'Or in Feb '16 ... (after the sad and far-too-premature passing of the previous owner, Raymond Campet). With Cote d'Or's nearby... More
