Went to the Lost Dog to grab a quick bite because it was near my daughter's apartment. Don't let the smallness of this neighborhood corner cafe fool you. Lots of menu options. I had a roast beef and Dijon/Mayo sandwich that was toasted to perfection and was a taste treat. Also, the spinach dip had the freshest ingredients I have... More

Supporting lost dog and cat rescue foundation, this is a hole in the wall that will become my go-to stop on every trip to DC from now on. Appetizers, soups, salads, gourmet pizzas, specialty sandwiches, kids menu, sides, sodas, juices, milkshakes and floats, desserts and beer and wine of the month selections. FAB!

Our family loves Lost Dog. The sandwiches are so creative and tasty. The waffle fries are great, but eat them there rather than take out -- they get soggy quickly. Their milkshakes are delicious. The pizza is very creative, and their dough is homemade and very tasty. This is such a friendly, warm lunch place. It's like an old shoe... More

We really liked eating here. Good atmosphere and good food. The meatball sandwich was the best we have ever had.

While visiting the DC area, my wife and I stayed a few days in Arlington, Va. Remarkably, we heard from multiple local sources about one and only eatery in Arlington during our stay as their recommended place for casual dining, a varied yet affordable menu, and a place to enjoy a few brews with friends. Each source suggested The Lost... More

I've visited Lost Dog several times when I was in town seeing friends. Casual atmosphere, excellent pizza, almost any kind of beer you could want (draft or bottle). I've never tried the sandwiches, but they have a lot of variety on the menu and my friends say good things about them.

This is a fun restaurant to visit. The service was quick and friendly. They have a rather large menu. Everyone in our group was happy with their selection. The sandwiches are almost too big for one meal. We actually took half of one sandwich home. The selection of craft beer is amazing. I've never seen so many different types of... More

My daughter had a coupon from GrubHub. Ordered 2 sandwiches, mine was a steak & cheese with onions & green peppers. The sandwich was a nothing short of amazing. Everything was perfect, even down to the warmed (fresh) roll with a touch of au jus gravey (totally unexpected). Through GrubHub, 2 5 star sandwiches, chips & drink: $10.00. You can't... More

Want something familiar, but not ordinary diner food? This is your spot. NOT meatloaf and mash-potatoes, but good sandwiches, soups, and snacks for lots of different appetites. Also, lots of beers on tap and in bottles. Ideal for lunch, but also good for dinner too.

My server noticed my confusion over a myriad of lunch choices and immediately suggested the Bow Wow sandwich. This sandwich is garlicky chicken breast deliciousness on a hot toasted roll. The waffle fries are an excellent accompaniment, though it is enough for at least two people. I loved the neighborhood feel of the place.
