An average looking restaurant in a strip mall near our hotel, we stopped in here for lunch. The service was friendly and attentive. We found the reed chairs pretty uncomfortable. Several types of mole are on offer, but not all were available. We had the mole poblano, which was a chicken breast with the mole served over it, rather than... More

What I liked about this place was the menu, it has a good variety. There are American style Mexican and Authentic. The drink menu is also that way, you can order a "cheap" margaritta or a hand made authentic one. If anyone likes Mole, I think they have some of the best I've had here. The street tacos are basic,... More

My boyfriend and I went to Guajillo during a one night stay in Rosslyn. The food was fantastic! I ordered the Al Pastor tacos which were delicious and fresh. He got the Fajitas which he really enjoyed though forewarning they were HUGE. I would definitely recommend the guacamole as it is made fresh daily. Overall, the food was great, the... More

It's a well-known fact that great Mexican food is difficult to come by in the DC Metro area and Guajillo definitely does not fit into the "great" category. But it does have some respectable dishes on the menu: the carne asada is usually cooked and flavored well, good fajitas, and very nice ceviche. It can be hit and miss -... More

Tried this restaurant on the off-chance - was not disappointed. In fact, the food was excellent, came in large portions and was very tasty. Service could have been a little quicker, but they were very busy and we weren't in a rush so no probalem really. Margueritas were very good too!

The chips are great...isn't that the first thing you review at a Mexican restaurant??? Thin, warm, and crispy....yum. My friend had the Mole Poblano (chicken) and said it was very good. I had the Masitas de Puerco (orange pork) which had a great flavor but was a bit dry. Beans and rice were both good, but there was a chopped-tomato... More

My husband and I decided to check out this restaurant (a short walk from our hotel) on our first night in Arlington. The food was delicious! We loved the chips and salsa to start. I ordered a salad with chicken and my husband ordered a variety of tacos. Everything was so good. Definitely recommend this place and we would go... More

What an unassuming restaurant, nestled in a small strip mall in the Rosslyn area. Although Ben's Chili Bowl was right next door, Guajillo did not disappoint. The salsa is served warm with fresh tortilla chips, our waiter kept filling our cold drinks since the day was so hot, and the food was not only beautifully presented, but tasted delicious. Oh...
