After our first visit some months ago I was hesitant to go back, as we did not have a good experience. I was pleasantly surprised this time around, we were seated promptly, drinks arrived and our order placed in no time at all. They were not very busy and even less so outside, where we were seated. Our server was... More

The beer is good -- brewed on-site, with some good season brew. The food is pretty mediocre -- reasonably priced, but nothing special.

Food very affordable, great service. Ambiance is good. Any questions were answered by the staff promptly. I would recommend for a couple or a group.

Cheap happy hour specials, good drinks! Somethings I would not buy at regular price but is okay for happy hour.

Good beers, decent food. Very large 360 bar seating, outside seating. Ask Ivan for the beer of the day!

They start you off with complementary warm soft pretzels and a great horseradish mustard dipping sauce. Happy hour from 4-7, and very friendly servers who are also very attentive. Went there three nights during our stay and had different servers and different food, all of which was very good.

Even with a large family gathering (18 of us), we were served efficiently. It helped that one person was handling the total bill. Nice range of local brews (I had Irish Red) and large portions of food (Cajun Chicken Pasta for me, Crab cakes for my wife).

We decided to try this "pub" because it was right across the street from our hotel (The Grand Hyatt; excellent!!) Even on a random Sunday afternoon in Feb this joint does a thriving business and, from the looks of it, has a loyal following of "regulars". The ambience is lively (but not Buffalo Wild Wings loud) and it caters to... More

When visiting the Shirlington area of Arlington I try to stop in at Capital City albeit only once a year or so. They brew their own very good beers on-site. Though everything on the menu is usually good today's lunch special of the triple decker prime rib sandwich was phenomenal. The prime rib was tender and moist. The sandwich also... More
