Such a wonderful delight this restaurant was. Everything was authentically loyal to the original Persian recipe. During my stay to DC, I was there twice and everything was perfect. the staff is so courteous, and the bread they make from scratch is yummy.

The Kabob Bazar in Bethesda was my favourite persian restaurant in DC but when that one was closed, I tried this branch and was totally disappointed. The staff were very friendly but the quality of food and service is not comparable to the to the other branch that closed in summer. We went there early noon on a Sunday and... More

I recommend the shish kabob beef with rice or shish kabob lamb with salad. The bread and spinach dip are also excellent. The outdoor seating was excellent. Seating was available shortly after 5 PM. The flavor on the meat could be enhanced with more seasoning. I would have preferred more peppers than onions being used. Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant.

I had visited this place for Dinner today and could not resist sharing about the food over here. It is a nice cozy place in Clarendon area near Arlington. I had ordered for a combination of Salmon and Lamb Kabobs along with Hummus and bread. Fantastic experience where the meat was succulent and Salmon fresh. It is closer to being... More

The wait staff is always very pleasant. The kabobs are great, especially the chicken thighs. The lentil soup and vegetarian sampler platter are also very good. There is some outdoor seating in the nice weather.

The Sunday lamb special: lamb was really good. Love sitting outside on a nice day. Open table didn't show for this location. However, it shows the bethesda location. I can't get enough of the bread; ) keep up the good work.

I love the kabobs and specialty dishes. You can take the Clarendon station and your within. 1 mile. Open table takes reservations so take advantage. They have daily specials that are often big enough for two servings. Parking can suck so plan accordingly.

Iranian / Persian cuisine. Excellent food, and wonderful location just steps away from Clarendon Metro Station. So authentic. The two rice lunch specials were outta this world good. One had dates, lentils, and raisins. The other had berries and saffron. Supposed to come with chicken quarter but they were out, substituted with chicken thigh kabob, excellent. Lamb kabob was the... Ordered the Chenjeh Soltani, combination of one skewer of kubideh (ground beef) and one chenjeh (chunks of beef), and the Super Soltani, one skewer lamb and chicken using a Living Social Voucher. The kubideh and the chicken were well seasoned, but the chenjeh and the lamb were bland. Service was very good.

An Iranian restaurant serving Persian cosine since 1993.Selection of beef, chicken, lamb, or seafood kabobs are the highlights of the menu which is served with the choice of Basmati rice, tandoori bread, or salads. Menu also consists of low carb and vegetarian dishes. Daily specials are are also something to look forward to. We serve wine and beer and have outdoor seating when the weather permits.
