All the reviews about the restaurant is true. Had great diner and breakfast. Unfortunally stayed only one night. The owner was very rude to me and my friend. No interest in a talk or what so ever. To be clear I mean the man and not the lovely wife. Oh yeah the view is indeed excellent. Yes there is a... More

On the edge of town, this has some of the best food in town-- a town in my opinion not well endowed with good food. The owners are French or French Canadian and there is also a little hotel. The food is generally quite good, but varies according to who is in the kitchen.

Great location about 10mins walk from Coroico central plaza. Nice waking up to the sound of the birds. Place was clean & tidy. The beds are quite rickity so if someone in your room rolls over you can hear it! Price was Bs50 a night in dorms. Would be great if this included breakfast or info on the surrounding area... More

On wed. July 16th, 2014 we went to Cafetal for dinner – we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. Their menu looked good, so despite the terrible reviews regarding this hostal/restaurant’s service, we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I wish we had not, an had instead listened to our instincts and the reviews of others.... More

I dont know why everybody likes it that much, I had a terrible experience. The staff was really unfriendly but above all, the kitchen seems to be really unhygenic. I good a food poisening afterwards and was lying in bed for 3 days! Can not recommend it...

El Cafetal offers great quality food with an amazing view. They are on the pricier side but so is every decent restaurant in Coroico. The steak and lasagna were cooked to perfection. The bread and crepes were delicious as well! The chef even came out to check on us (we went at a slow time) and to make sure the... More

The food was amazing, the best in Coroico probably. The views are amazing and it's very calmed and nice with a rustic atmosphere. Nevertheless we were visiting with 2 children of 4 and 2 years of age who really wants to go in the pool. The owners not only neglected our request but almost slammed the kitchen door on our... We stayed 3 nights at the hotel. The restaurant was so good that we eat there every day. Try the llama and also french pancakes, they are great. The rooms are a little old but cheap price and the view makes it unforgatable.

We had two curry dishes here and were very pleased with both. The location is a little walk from the town but we are tempted to return to stay at the hostal which looked clean and cosy.
