Great restaurant with excellent moquecas. The service is perfect. The deserts must be tried, especially the "mousse de maracuja". A bit pricy for Salvador but it is worth it.

They have a nice garden put staff does not speak english and are not very polite. Prices are extremely high and I would not recommend anybody to go here.

Once in Salvador, you will have to try a Moqueca Bahaiana, a typical dish of the area. It is a fish stew with coconut milk, palm oil and plenty of other ingredients. Try to get a table in the backyard surrounded by beautiful tropical plants.

Went to this restaurant last nite & the seafood was excellent. The service couldn't be any better. In addition, the servers were friendly, helpful & accommodating especially since I don't speak Portuguese. You can't find a better meal & I recommend a definite GO!! :)

Best restaurant in Salvador's historic centre which, I'm afraid, is not saying much. It is one of the few that feels like a real restaurant where you can eat well in an elegant decor and not feel you're being ripped off. That is why is particularly popular among locals and knowledgeable tourists alike. Very competent execution but disheartening menu, mixing... More

I went to this restaurant on a Sunday night and it was very quiet - I'm sure it gets a lot livelier on other days. Lovely outside courtyard and attentive waiters though. The moqueca mixta which is their trademark dish was absolutely delicious... Fragrant, tasty, cooked with amazingly fresh ingredients, from the white fish to the prawns to the coriander.... More

This was an elegant and great restaurant with beautiful food and attentive service, well recommended by Michael Palin and made a good finale to our last night in Brazil. Easy to find in the centre of the old Salvador all within walking distance of the hotel and historic churches. Street life and music all round.
