I really enjoyed the place and the food. It's just too good. Although, me and my friend he waited 10-15 mns before anyone took care of us and it wasn't even a busy night. Over than that it's a great place I would recommend all day.

We visit Katsu Ya several times a year for birthday celebrations. It is a family favorite. On our most recent visit we were a party of 8 and enjoyed the bar and the hibachi dining. Service was exceptional, especially the chef. He was entertaining and professional. Our dinners were all cooked to perfection. We will definitely continue to make this... More

Excellent bar area to wait for a table, and on the weekends there will be some waiting- which should tell you this is the place to be! Great menu choices, wonderful wait staff (ask for Tony, he's the best!), and an overall good vibe for a busy restaurant.

Had a fun time. Grilled our food right the table. Excellent You can get seating for large groups or just one or two. There is a Sushi Bar. Best of both worlds.

Katsu YA is a wonderful Japanese style restaurant with many options. I have gone back time and time again and still never dissatisfied. They have tables where you may grill your own food or you can also do the hibachi where they cook it all right in front of you. Highly recommended.

First time here and from the hostesses to initially the server I was suspect. SLOW I sat in the busy bar as all they had was reservations BUT once I tracked a server down it was all UPSIDE! Food came out fast. Food presentation was fantastic and the taste WOW!!! Service improved as Happy Hour slowed. Add that the atmosphere... More

I went in with low expectations and was still disappointed. The folks at Kat su Ya have a good thing going here passing off a sub par hibachi experience as legitimate. If their patrons ever visit a hibachi restaurant, they will soon go out of business. I knew it was a mistake when they did NOT offer Yum Yum sauce.... More

My wife, daughter and i enjoyed a great evening at katsu ya. It was our first time at the new building. We were impressed! The wait was short and had a drink in the lounge which was very roomy. Service was fantastic as was the food. We had the hibachi style dinner, but i can see us coming back to... More

If you are going here on the weekend, arrive early to avoid the crowd. The sushi is the best in town. With alcohol, sushi, combo meals, and all the extras it can get pretty expensive.
