Went to El Paso at asa sul with my wife on Saturday for lunch. We had the Buffett option for 51 reais each person. Everything was good. Highlights were the quesadillas, ceviche and the desserts: 3 leches pie and churros with dulce de leche. I ate so much that I didn't have anything else for the rest of the day... More

We enjoyed this meal but just a warning to those that are dying for Mexican or TexMex food, this isn't the place, the food was good and the chili and guacamole tasted very Mexican but that's where the Mex flavors ended, we got the full lunch buffet and I thought it was quite pricey for not being true Mex but... I love ceviche and when want to eat it I come here, they have all the other traditional stuff too (guacamole, tacos, quesadillas, etc). The space is totally decorated with the mexican theme, the staff is kind and during the week they have a nice buffet option. Not the cheapest mexican, not the most expensive also.

El Paso serves an all-you-can-eat tex-mex buffet at lunch which is quite good and not too expensive. The place is colorful and kitsch as tex-mex places usually are (at least in Brazil) and not so big, but when we went there there (quite late for lunch) there were plenty of available tables. There could be a bit more diversity in... More

The people serving us were very kind. A person saw that the table was wobbling so they took the time to try to fix it without us having to say anything. My meal, as always in this restaurant, was amazing. The days they have buffets are the best because you can eat all you want and their variety is quite... More

First of all, let us not compare this restaurant with a real Mexican restaurant in Mexico, or with a Tex-Mex in the US. El Paso Texas is a great local restaurant of Tex-Mex inspiration, and that´s it. I am reviewing the original place, at 404 sul, although they have two other locations, in Asa Norte and in a shopping mall.... More

We all had the buffet which was great and good value offering a lot of fresh options. We washed it down with margaritas. The restaurant is very cool and has a lot of detail - very colourful.

The place, overdecoreted as most Mexican restaurants, and the music (not too loud) make the ambiance. The personnel (along with Tequilas and some other drinks) make you feel relaxed and get into the mood. Some of the waitressess are not that skilled, but everyone is nice and service is ok after all. Most of all, the food of the Buffet... More
