I was there twice. The food is amazingly good, it represents the real flavors of Brazil. The palmito is fresh and full of nutrients. The fish dishes are delicious. Everything on the menu has character. Great place to go to.

Go up to the Morro Santa Tereza and hidden between many plants, you will find this unique restaurant The food is mainly Brazilian, what we usually eat at home but with a sophisticated touch! The view is enough if you don't want a desert, but together its even better!

The place have different rooms in the garden with different levels. Very beautiful surrounded by a great garden. The access in not easy, please cal a Uber / taxi to go and back. You need first on arrival take a elevator to go down the restaurant. Great atmosphere, service excellent, but expensive place even without wine.

We went for dinner on a hot night in January, the place in incredible. Excellent food, great surroundings, beautiful view. Everything we ate was fantastic. It's not cheap but not impossible to afford. It is far away if you are staying in Zona Sul but you can easily grab a taxi or an Uber.

Incredible food, fresh original cocktails and stunning view. Very few restaurants that I have been to offer it all, and this place does. The view alone is incredible, but the great service, the food and the drinks make it the total package. A must for any traveler to Rio.

Our concierge at the JW Marriott made a reservation for us and boy are we glad he did. When we arrived there was quite a wait for tables, yet the best one had been held for us due to our concierge's stellar relationship with the staff there. If you're staying at JW Marriott, have Afonso make the reservation for you.... More

It's my third time eating at Aprazível. The staff is super friendly, food is fantastic and the views are breathtaking. You can go with taxi and walk after lunch to the streets nearby. The neighborhood- Sant Teresa - it's one of the most charming and original places in Rio. I had the moqueca and would order again.

We got great service. I went there with my family. My elderly mother has a disability, she cannot take the stairs. I called in advance, Ibrahim was very gentle on the phone and made sure to have our table on the first floor with air conditioner and let us know they have elevators now. When we arrived 15 minutes in... More

Staying in Santa Teresa

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors can now stroll through this area to view magnificent mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a former mansion turned museum which houses works by prominent Brazilian modern artists.
