This is one of my favorite places to eat in Ipanema. They have a great selection of very tasty fresh food sold by the kilo or all you can eat for a fixed price. Almost everything is excellent

We visited Frontera for a quick dinner. It's a self service pay by weight buffet restaurant. The dishes were okay but nothing outstanding. Overall a good place to stop if you are looking for a quick cheap meal.

We ate at Frontera almost every night during the Olympics as it was good food with lots of vegetable choices and grilled meats, quick service as it is buffet style with payment based on weight of plate. Friendly atmosphere, TVs to watch the events, bar, great dessert bar we never tried as we wanted to eat healthy.

The buffet was mixed with respect to food quality. Our group had some items that were very good and some that were obviously old. At the grill they only had one person cooking where he only had two choices of meat, and it took a while for him to cook it. The top sirloin was quite good while the rump... More

Lots of choices here. They have meat, but also a pretty good food cold bar and sushi selection. They weigh everything. A big lunch cost me about R$55

The setup of the restaurant is okay. It is a buffet restaurant and you pay for the amount of KG you eat. We were here on a thursday evening around 20:00 and the food was not good at all. Everything was half-cold and i think the salmon died twice in his life. Will not go there again!

We found this place by accident and we went back 5 times. Great buffet with more variety than any other we've seen: salads, fish, steak, quiches, pasta, sushi, sashimi, etc... And great desserts too! Not to mention really good caipirinhas! You pay by the price and it's cheap too! Hard to beat...

Thank Chris B
