I like going to Couve Flor because I always find many nice sample of foods. Their Japanese sample is ok. Not fancy, but decent California, hot Philadelphia sushis, among others, for Japanese food lovers... Vegetarians and gluten free/lactose free customers will also find what they wish. Regular grilled meats and international foods are also available there. Nobody can say that... More

its is little noisy, but the food is very fresh and you have lots of choice. It's a kilo restaurant, so you choose what you want and weight the dish. So it's perfect when you are in diet and don't want to pay a lot.

This is a kilo type restaurant, one of the 1st of it's style in Rio. Some like this one closed, but I guess it is still open because the food is really good. You can have a little of this and a little of that.

I do not particularly like buffet but this is an easy way of getting fed when time is tight. The meat is better than expected as most meat in a buffer are overcooked but this one was not. Salad were also nice.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after paying the Jardin Botanico a visit. Normally I am not a big fan of buffet style restaurants, because it generates a greedy side in people, by shoving as much food as their plate carries, and after a couple of bites leave it. And go for a second round. In Brazil, however, you are charged... More

Upon telling my guide that I'm a vegetarian she suggested this place for lunch, and let's put it this way.. By having a little bit of everything that I could from the savoury options, I ran out of room for dessert! This place is a dream for vegetarians who are tired of limited options in a meat dominated region and... More

The place is a gem near the Botanical Garden. The food is great and the variety is amazing. Like many kilo restaurants in Rio, this one is a buffet where you´ll weight your plate and pay accordingly. The difference here is the quality of the food and the variety offered. Try to avoid the peak hour from noon to 1... More

A great choice of meals (salads, pasteis, vegetables...), tasty food for reasonnable prices. Unfortunatelly, sometimes pasteis are a bit dry... But "bananas a milanesa" are the best thing I've ate here! You should really taste those ones.
