I just love this place in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. The food is delicious, the reataurant is beautiful, tradicional from Rio but reminding a portuguese restaurant. I just love the food and the beer 😋😋😋 I strongly recommend it

My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for dinner for over ten years. We like Portugues food like Caldo Verde (soup), and Brazilian bolinhas de bacalhau ( codfish balls) Servings are very large.Prices are reasonable. Beer is cold. Be careful when ordering because the food is very plentiful. We will go there again next time we're in... More

We were looking for a close by restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. During the day, we had walked by the restaurant and did internet research on its menu. It has a mix of entree selections from various cultures which provided us choices. Later, we returned for dinner. Upon entering, the restaurant decor and atmosphere reminded us of middle... More

Stumbled upon this great spot on a corner of Avenida Atlantica and Republica do Peru. Great caipirinhas (and cheaper than the postos across the street), and very tasty cooking. Special thanks to our waiter Joao for great service. It was our last dinner in Rio and we loved it. Tasty, casual and friendly. We would absolutely go back and we... More

My wife and I were strolling along Copacabana and we were in the mood for dessert and expresso. Found this wonderful place and truly enjoyed our experience. Recommended by a local who comes here. Pleasant sitting outside. Fast service. Good barbecued steak. Children enjoyed pizza. Large portions - share between 2. Some English. Clean toilets with soap. Friendly. All round good experience. Good option compared to some more plasticky restaurants in the area.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
