Had breakfast 3 days in a row. Great food, good place to read the paper or plan the day's activities

Enjoyed breakfast here on a sunny Sunday. Very busy indeed but I think that's a positive, we had to wait a while, but it was worth it and we had great omelettes and coffee! I can't enjoy all the delicious looking breads but I would have like to. Very tricky to get GF options in Brazil.

This restaurant is directly across from the General Osario subway stop (exit A or B) and on the corner of Visconde Paraja, not far from where we were staying. So, of course we tried it one evening. It is small and they were quite full but after about 10 minutes they seated us on their small but nice patio. Service... More

We at here three times on our recent trip to Rio - once for lunch and twice for dinner. The good food at reasonable prices and friendly service kept us coming back. We really enjoyed their pasta dishes and the profiteroles were delicious. The cafe/restaurant is small so not a good place if you have a large group. Best for... More

Just a little hole in the wall corner cafe right across the street from the open air market we stopped in for lunch. It was the best food we had in our two weeks in Brazil. We were lucky to get in before the crowds, but be prepared for a wait. It's worth it!

Wonderful little gem in Ipanema. The restaurant is small, but bright and friendly. The food is excellent! I've been twice. The first time I had an omelette and it was great. The second time I had the dourado fish and it was really good. The only catch is that the restaurant is small and fills up quickly.

The best cost benefit in the neighborhood. The salads, dishes and pastries are excellent and exquisite, and the prices are very reasonable. My favorite are squid and octopus salads, the lobster, and the fish made in a salt crust. The place also serves breakfast up to 11 a.m. and my favorites are the open omelets and the pancakes.

For three weeks we walked from our hotel in Copacabana to Ipanema, following the beach. Invariably, we ended in Terzetto by 5PM. We went to the counter and chose a selection of snacks, like octopus, mussels, grilled eggplant and caponata, all marinated in olive oil, all exquisitely prepared. We accompanied this with a glass of 8 years-old Johnny Walker (me)... More

This is a good place to stop and have some coffee or juice. The place looks pretty generic but it did have one of the better cups of coffee that I had in Rio. That might be more of a comment on the coffee you can get in Rio more than anything else. The juice and panini I had there... More

My mom and I went to this place for lunch because it was on our way. We ordered risotto with sea food and pasta. First, it's a very overpriced place especially for the quality of food they offer. Risotto looked like porridge, as if they cooked the rice several hours. No decoration on the plate, no basil leaf of any... More
