The restaurant is over 30 years old and still, with simplicity, one of the bests in town. It is a traditional restaurant in a very old colonial-style house with an old fashioned menu, but everything works perfectly. Keep im mind that this is NOT a fancy/cool place, but an historic one. Don't expect dishes with different combinations - Try the... More

Fiorino is my favorite Italian restaurant in Rio de Janeiro. Their pasta is incredible! The place is an unique and beautiful old house and the service is very good. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We came here in June and having read the reviews had high expectations. We weren't disappointed but nor were we impressed to be honest. The food was probably better than good, nice portions and well presented. Staff were generally friendly but the waiters just a tad stuffy and a little unfriendly. You just got the impression they were used to... More

This is my favorite italian restaurant in Rio. I can honestly say I have never added pepper, salt, olive oil or cheese to my plate because the food already comes perfect! Heads up: they only accept CASH. no checks, no cards...

In the neighbourhood of Tijuca, quite remote from touristic attractions of Rio, there is an established italian restaurant that is frequented mostly by locals. They serve excitingly surprising home made pastas, such as tortelli neri stuffed with lobster in saffron sauce, or garganelli with scallop and asparagus in prosecco sauce. Prices are very reasonable but don't forget to bring cash... More

One cannot get such good service and great value in many places in Rio de Janeiro. There are places for parking, the food is amazing, the waiters are excellent. One of the best Italian restaurants in Rio (small and cozy)

The food was excellent! I mean really really good - don;t fill yourself up with too much bread to start with. Location seems dark, but the area is fine really. Waiters are pleasant, older. They seem to get a lot of locals? The food is good quality so worth going back to if you can. Nice atmoshere

We went for dinner and didn't have high expectations due to the area, away from typical Rio destinations. Just as we arrived we were surprised to find a great house with very nice gardens and a definitely refined look. Service is remarkable and dishes are very good, specially recommend homemade pasta. Just cash please.
