Best pizza we have had in our trip to Rio. The pasta and salads are good too. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in this area and Pasta e Palline is one to try.

Excellent casual Italian cafe with attentive English speaking waiter. This comfortable restaurant was a short walk from our hotel and proved to be a great choice.

Having a late dinner with the wife. Recommended by our hotel. Full Italian menu, but we wanted a salad and Salami pizza. Was one of the better one we had with outstanding service. Brazilian eat later and the place starting to fill up at 9:00 PM. Close to the Windsor Atlantica hotel on Copacabana Beach. Great prices and great value.

So helpful. Fitted seven of us in when they didn't really have space and, despite that and only three staff, the service was good. Italian, obviously, and well done. very busy, very popular.

Great food, friendly staff. It was so busy during the Olympic Games but they were so happy to accommodate a table of 7 and we loved the food! Find this place if you're in Rio, you won't be disappointed!

I like this place a lot. During the Olympic games, this place is full of foreigners with cheerful energy. Food is tasty and inexpensive. You can try some of Italian table wines with reasonable price. Waiters are friendly and hard working, Definitely I recommend.

Our stay was in Windsor Atlantica Hotel which was just next block to this amazing restaurant. We visited twice because we couldn't resist their delicious Italian food. I highly recommend to try their Margarita Pizza and Pasta. My friend and I were vegetarian but Joseph (the person who took our order) understood our needs and served us exactly the kind... More

I'm a Brazilian living abroad for many years. I enjoy wine and I must say drinking good wine in Rio is always a challenge. This restaurant was recommended by a friend and it was a fresh experience, real Italian cantine experience. Great pasta cooked by a Italian and good wine selection.

Thank Andre L

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
