exiting place for good life music, to dance and to watch, crowed but well organized, the later the better. Food is ok too and all kind of drinks. We had a great Saturday night!

Is this place for tourists? On a weeknight, sure. Do they have a ridiculously elaborate check-in process that makes zero sense on a non-busy night? Yup. Do we care? Not really! This place was quite unique. I'm not much of a nightclub person, and I only went because it seemed criminal to go to Rio and not hear a live... More

We had to provide photo I.d and have our pics taken. They have a metal detector at the entrance way. The place is huge...and beautifully decorated. Reminded me of an old Cuban house. The 1st floor had the latest music and was a favourite for all age groups.... tables and chair lines the walls around the room. The ground floor... More

This bar/restaurant/ club completely mesmerised me when i entered. The interiors are so different. Lovely and very happening atmosphere inside. They have so many different areas. You can enjoy samba or electronic music or just have a quiet dinner. They have space for all sort of people! We had a really good time. Its a must visit for everyone visiting... More

First of all the facility is excellent and worth the visit. The live music in different scenarios and the possibility to take a seat for dinner or just for a drink make this place an excellent place for groups of every age. I saw people in the 70's and other groups with children. I think that was because we got... More

You must get there to enjoy Brazilian Music and Dance, but I would recommend to make reservation ahead if you would like the main floor. Upper floor is nice as well, but the vive is better down. Too hot as the air conditioning does not cover all the place. Good salad, which was a nice surpise, but others items were... More

Their drinks were really good. We were served a buffet for our group, so I can't really comment on the food. The music was nice and relaxing. The place is full of antiques so you can make some great photos.

This is the place to go if you want to experience a night of Brazilian music and dancing with the locals. There is a great vibe here. The place is very crowded so if you want a table you need to book in advance. There is a cover charge to enter.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Rio is the place where this city was born. With modern skyscrapers sharing space with historical buildings and landmarks, this neighbourhood is living proof that the old and the new can live together harmoniously. As you would expect, downtown is where all major companies house their offices. However, the region isn’t restricted to businesses. Gems such like the “Paço Imperial,” which is a cultural centre that used to serve as a residence for governors of Brazil, can be found here. Pedra do Sal, a Monday night street party, is also in this neighbourhood. This landmark is the birthplace of samba and is famous for its “roda de sambas” (“dance circles”). Stop in for one and get closer to discovering where Brazilian happiness comes from.
