Though the name suggests it is all about meat at this place, it were the vegetables that surprised me. The menu works as follows: pick a piece of meat, and your plate comes with a rodizio of vegetables. All very nice. I guess even a vegetarian could enjoy dinner here. As a starter they have a water melon carpaccio, really... More

There are now about five CT Boucherie restaurants in different parts of Rio de Janeiro. Chef Claude Troisgrois (CT) has found a formula to please and we were lucky to get a great round table (there were five of us) after the movies in Jardim Botanico neighborhood. Because it was latish, we skipped appetizers (of which there are a few... More

Have visited several times, most recent visit was for Sunday family lunch. The positives - valet parking if you need it (we usually hunt for a parking spot), nice atmosphere/decoration and usually not too full at 1pm, good wine list (expensive as always in Brazil) and good food (we really like the squid risotto). High chairs are available and the... More

Great food and service! I still do not know which one is better, the main course or the dessert!! Definitely worthy going!

Strange, strange food. Baby Churro was served pasta with lamb and a mysterious black sauce. What was in it? Tomato? HP Sauce? Unclear. The restaurant itself was very fancy - attentive service, good ambience; doormen welcomed patrons in from their taxi. At lunchtime they offer a decent-looking salad buffet. Was charged for bread.

Shared the beef tenderloin, brie risotto and the carbonara. The food, staff and overall experience was wonderful! I just wish they had a CT Trattorie in Chicago!!!

Went for lunch with colleagues and it was just really bad. Service was extremely awkward and rude, all done in terrible English despite the fact that we replied every time in Portuguese. When I asked what vegetarian options there were I was told there was nothing on the menu and the only option was 'salad buffet' and then the waiter... More

Great place and food! It is expensive, but the food is worth it! The staff is really attentive. The risotto is amazing! The desert is really good too.

Were there for a pair menu with wines and food. The food was excellent. We tasted many flavours and were happy to say there`s a lot of quality and love in it. The wine pairing wasnt so spectacular, the chianti was really unremarkable, though we understand the price was fine for it. The total cost was around R$ 240,00 per... More
