This isnt actually a deli by UK standards but a small bistro that sells wine, oil and balsamic vinegars. Food was good value and excellent range of wines. TIP: Go for lunch and check out the specials board on the way in.

Salumeria - Italian antipasti. Cold dishes that serve as appetizers or petiscos. The owner, Ettore, is welcoming, the staff knowledgable and the food - a quality that is hard to find anywhere. A wine bar as well. I only drink Port and his bottle selections were few but wide ranging and very good. Plus a Portuguese bottled water that is... More

I went there with my family. Wine list is okay, but a little bit pricey. The playlist is fine, jazz & Brazilian music etc. But food, OMG! They have a kinda of tapas style, which is usually ok, but there the plates are just toooo small!!! I am not saying that they are kind of French style, no, they are... More

We just stopped by here coming with the bus back to Copa. We saw this place, craving for a good coffee (which we hadn't had yet after a week in Rio), thought lets try! The coffee was made in a proper machine and it was just soo good! The place is more of a store selling delicacies; wine, chocolate, ice... More

Very cozy place in Copacabana with a good selection of products, from wine to chocolate. Worth a visit when in Copacabana.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
