Food is almost four stars but I found it a bit pricy. This is the reason I give an overall 3 stars. In any case is a nice place to taste local food.

If you want to taste the most delicious (sweet or salty) tapioca in a rustic, local and friendly way, Casa de Taipa is the place. Here you have plenty of fillings to choose from and, unless you really don't like tapioca, you will have an amazing experience. Friendly people with great local atmosphere.

If you want to taste some of exotic and delicious local food, try the Tapioca. It is made of manioc and filled in with a variety of flavours. Try it with cheese and coconut or smashed meat. The place is decorated with local art (artesanato) providing charm and festive atmosphere.

Tapioca is sort of a big deal in the North East of the country. This restaurant has the best tapioca I've had so far in Brazil. Definitely worth going, we ended up going three times we liked it so much. Super friendly staff, coconut water straight from an icy cold coconut. For me it couldn't get any better. Ordered fried...
