Very rustic family owned and run restaurant. We were a party of six and had different seafood dishes. The food was simple and tasteful. Service was swift and very attractive and friendly. This place really have character. Good healthy food. Parking is available at the restaurant.

Senior couple Stopped here on recommendation from lady at Bellingrath Home. A hidden gem in the middle of "just folks" in Alabama. Had a sandwich and enjoyed to atmosphere. Nothing fancy about the setting; just good food and made you feel like part of the "family".

Except for the very friendly wait staff, there is nothing for us to recommend this restaurant. If you want overfried food and less than clean surroundings, try this. Otherwise, go elsewhere, very quickly!

If you want ambiance, go some place else. If you want without question the best crab claws on this planet, head right now for Irvington. As a lover of this delicacy, I've tasted them all across the South, but nobody else does them like the Lighthouse. On top of that, the claws are the biggest and tenderest imaginable. Pure ambrosia,... More

Down home country cooking. Friendly people, delicious food, wonderful experience. A bit off the beaten path, but wonderful place.

Yummy seafood fresh and delicious. Grew up eating at this place and love to visit. A bit pricey but worth it for fresh gulf seafood.

Enjoyed great seafood here, gilled shrimp, fried shimp, catfish, & crab claws. Gumbo is ok (but I prefer New Orleans style over Alabama bayou; others may differ). Nice, friendly service, reasonable prices.

I am from central New York visiting family in Irvington Al. They took me to their favorite place, which is the Lighthouse. We all got the crab claws, loaded potatoes and hush puppies. The Best!! I could have eaten the crab claws all night. Wish this place was back home.

Thank Charlene B
