When you pay 150-230 reais for a plate you should be getting at least something different and original. The plates that we got there were something that we could had cooked at home. The total for a couple was 414,00 WITHOUT wine and starters.. disappointing place... for the same price you eat so much better food... don't waste your time... More

What an incredible view Don't leave Sao Paolo without coming here, preferably around sunset. The wine selection is not great and the food ok after so many Michelin restaurants, but this is one of the most amazing restaurant views I've ever seen.

A must visit in Sao Paolo. The food was great with decent wine, albeit a tad pricey. The views were stunning and well worth the expense. The bar is also a nice place to spend an afternoon enjoying the vistas.

I was very disappointed by what we got for a 220€ dinner for 2 ppl. For that price you expect perfection or at least a very high quality, this is definitely not what you get here. The view is indeed great and worth visiting. The food and service are sadly very mediocre. We had the degustation menu, which usually should... More

Staying in Republica

Neighbourhood Profile
Republica
Part of the historical centre of São Paulo, República was once a fancy residential area. República Square holds a craft and food fair every weekend, right by the subway entrance. Nearby, one of the neighbourhood’s main attractions is the Italian Building, where you can see the city from the 42nd floor. The Copan Building also deserves a close look, with 1,160 apartments and a huge floor area that inspired filmmakers and other artists. To get the feeling of São Paulo in the beginning of the 1900s, visit the Municipal Theatre – you will be amazed by its architecture. The area also features several galleries. República is a great area to explore during daytime, but use caution if visiting alone at night.
