We were recommended Frevo by pedestrians who we asked after finding a pizzeria closed. Really amazed by the healthy sucos made of natural fruit. But the most amazing thing for us was the serving of pasta -lasagna and ravioli- in pans with melting cheese. The servers are kind as they are always aware of your calls. A must

Great restaurant, excellent service. Best Beirute of the world, no doubt about it. When you look the place, you don´t have a clue that is going to be so great. One of those places that I call home.

Been going here 20 years! They recently crossed the road to the new store and the only thing that changed was the 400 year old chopp machine. Ambev have ruined Brahma but can't blame frevo for that. Awesome beirutes and best fried in Sampa

Frevo is not a restaurant is an institution. Regardless whether they have invented the "beirute" sandwich or not it is there where it is prepared at perfection together with draft beer "rabo de peixe". Regular dishes such as pasta, parmegiana beef etc are also great choices, but not at "beirute's" level. Service is old-style and waiters have been there forever.... More

Very good place if you to have a delicious meal (specially Strogonoff and their special 'beiruth'). It is already a traditional place on the augusta street area.

Frevo is a very nice place to eat because the waiters chat to you even if you don't know them. The beiruts are full of flavour, however, sometimes the hamburger bread is a bit soggy and falling apart.

*LOVE* this place! A revered São Paulo institution amongst the locals, it's in the heart of Sampa's *most fetch* Bond street-like shopping district - & is a 'simple' bodega-type hangout of hot sandwiches & cold beer; & caipiroskas (it sees itself as a cut above só it's vodka not cachaça here). This is perfect for a fun, cheap 'light bite'... More

Nothing special. Be there when you are downtown and hungry. Food is always fresh and good, but everything resembles beig made in the 1960s.

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
