Great service! Nice and cozy place! Portuguese music! It's cheerful!! And the food is wonderful!! We arrived almost at the closing time, but they received us very friendly! And we also had a good recommended white wine! I really recommend the place!

If you are a fan of Portuguese cuisine and music, this is a good place to explore. The food is good (specially the "bolinho de bacalhau") and in some nights you can enjoy a fado show.

Located in a small house in the charming neighborhood of Vila Madalena. Fried cod-fish rolls and other typical Portuguese dishes (e.g., bacalhau a Gomes de Sá, Zé Pipo in plenty of olive oil) can be found in this nice restaurant. Kind staff and fair price for their seafood dishes. The place deserves a refurnishment of its old decoration.

My second time and it is consistently great Portuguese food and very reasonably priced! Service is impeccable! The Bife Ora Pois is my favorite. I'll be back on my next trip to São Paulo!

This gem in the heart of Vila Madalena offers great food at a fraction of the price you'd pay at other Portuguese restaurants in Sao Paulo. We arrived at 8:30pm on a Friday and the place was dead. There wasn't even music playing. However, people wandered in throughout the dinner, and by the end it was packed - they had... More

Good cod fish..not the best in SP but pretty good. The prices are OK and you are ale to share if you are not super hungry. They have kids menu which to us worked put pretty well.

The place is good to eat some cod and plates from Portugal. They have a wonderful dessert: "arroz doce". Prices are good and wines too.

I'm an American who has been living in Sao Paulo for about 3 years, and recently had dinner at Ora Pois with some Brazilian friends who I lived with in Lisbon. We were really excited to eat Portuguese food and reminisce about when we lived there. The prices were reasonable (50 reais a head, with wine), however we were really... More

It's one of the top values in Sao Paulo. Everytime that I go there I order one for two people. It should be individual dishes, but it's enough for two. Just order a appetizer and share the main dish. The codfish is excellent. I'd reccomend Bacalhau a Espanhola. Very good price and a very good place.

Neighbourhood Profile
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighbourhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centres and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
