We visited Mani as part of a 'gastronomic' tour of Sao Paolo and this was head and shoulders above the rest (DOM, Jun Sakamoto). We loved everything about this place from the laid back feel, the buzzy atmosphere, attentive service. The highlight of course was the food - not a single dish disappointed, and there was consistency of quality from... More

Eleven courses and seven wines. Perfection. Could find no faults. Best restaurant in São Paulo. Thank you!

I enjoyed lunch at Mani with a friend who had recommended it to me. I wasn't disappointed. The picaña Brazilian dish is excellent but there is also a wide menu of fish and meat dishes. Booking essential!

We were in Sao Paolo for a long weekend and on the last day our local friends suggested this Restaurant. I have to honestly say that the food was amazing!! We had multiple appetizers and I had the octopus for a main which was cooked to perfection. I actually hope I go back to Sao Paolo to go back to... More

Phenomenal fusion cuisine, very creative beautiful and tasty. Unexpected textures and flavours coming together perfectly with the incredible recommendations of the sommelier. I went all out on wine and he amazingly offered to serve me by the half glass so I could taste more. Must have tried 12 wines for that lunch alone. I left feeling deeply satisfied with the... More

You will want to order the tasting menu, of course. There are so many marvels to choose from, I wouldn't know where to start. Best to put the choices in the hands of the masters -- the chefs. (BTW in case you don't know, Helena Rizzo was named World's Best Female Chef in 2014, and the restaurant is currently rated... More

When travelling I always try to go to good restaurants in the city I'm staying, but not necessarely the highest ranked Michelin restaurants. For sure these are good, but chefs who try to uplift local cuisine deserve more my attention. In this case the restaurant was highly appreciated for its local ingredients-cuisine and had a Michelin star, so expectations were... More

Nice atmosphere and good service as would be expected of a Michelin-starred restaurant. If you have to choose (hopefully you can go to both) between this and DOM in Sao Paulo, you'll definitely have a more elevated experience at DOM. So, I give this 4 stars, but only compared to that DOM level. It's good food. I was disappointed my... More

We were a group of 4 dining at Mani for a birthday celebration and sat at our table with high expectations. We opted for the degustation menu but decided to choose our own wines rather than go for the rather exorbitant option of matching wines with the menu. Overall the food was very good but the overall expectations for me,... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
