We came here for sunset drinks on our first day in Inle. Sat upstairs on the balcony, and whilst it's not a sunset spot it's great place to watch the world go by. While enjoying superb cocktails we checked the menu (which on paper looked amazing and on an expensive side). Then we looked at a TripAdisor reviews (some of... More

Beautiful food and a great restaurant to visit if you would like to sample traditional Shan State food. Lovely setting, get a table upstairs on the balcony and watch the world go by.

Dropped in for lunch on our way to our stay by the Inle Lake as part of our Myanmar tour. What an amazing place and what an excellent meal. Fixed lunch menu but our first taste of green tomato salad – delicious. And there was also an avocado salad as well as chicken and fish in banana leaves to get... More

Between 3 and 4 stars. Very good service, very nice presentation, nice ambience--except for the noise from boats and trucks, and the smell of smoke from nearby fields. Interesting food, but not great; expensive for Myanmar. Definitely ask for the non-fried Shan cheese (off the menu); it's like cheese jerky. Green sauce very good. Tamarind sauce terrible (too much fish... More

If you like cooking your own skewers of food right at your table you'll love this place. They have a variety of skewers to choose from including meat and seafood. They'll even provide vegetables if you prefer the vegetarian route. We sat on the outside and once the sun goes down it gets cold quickly in the winter months so... More

We were kind disappointed by the tasteless meals, nicely presentation on a miniature boat but pricey for the quality. Atmosphere is OK but mostly foreigners. Definitely not the best dinner of our stay.

So good the first time we came back years later! An eclectic fusion menu with combined Swiss and Myanmar influences. Recommend the set menus as a way to experience a range of different dishes. Great service and while at the pricier end for Inle food (relatively speaking but not pricey) it is well worth the cost as a similar meal... More

Shan viewpoint is a lovely restaurant set in an old house, downstairs on the polished concrete floor are comfy looking cushioned wicker chairs and an impressive looking bar. A wide central staircase leads up to the wooden floored and elegantly set restaurant. The menu is extensive and local fusion, the prices perhaps slightly more than elsewhere but still for a... More

The restaurant is quite elegant with a lovely fireplace downstairs. We liked the wood finishings and the upstairs outside balcony. We tried a wide assortment from the menu and found the grilled eggplant and pea leaf salads to be most to our liking. The butterfish was also well made and they offered a nice set of sauces. Servings are quite... More
