Nothing fancy, just real southern hospitality and food. Lunchtime visit satisfied four of us without costing much.. Waitress couldn't do enough.

My dad had their fried oysters and couldn't stop saying how great they were. I got their homemade banana pudding and it was delicious.

We love to eat at Lloyd's. It's a quaint diner that serves southern food and the staff is very friendly. The coconut pie is delish! They have a variety of vegetables - my son loves the sweet candied yams. My husband likes the fried shrimp.

I look at a successful restaurant as having excellence in service, food and ambiance. At Lloyd's the service was very good while the food average and ambiance needing improvement. Service: Our server was Trina and she was very friendly and welcoming, She did well to check on us and was very attentive. Although she could have been more suggestive in... More

We really enjoyed our dinner. The hamburger steak was delicious. The mashed potatoes, turnip greens, fried eggplant and squash were fresh and seasoned just right. This was our first visit but it won't be our last. When we are back in Birmingham,we will diffently be eating here again. Friendly service, Southern dishes. :)

One of the places we were anxious to revisit on this trip was Lloyds. It had been 23 years since we had lived nearby and Lloyds was one of our favorites. The portions are still huge and service was very friendly and quick but the food was not as flavorful as what we remembered. The Country-Fried Steak was my husband's... More

This is my favorite family Sunday lunch. I always have the Greek chicken with potato that has the best seasoning. My husband orders the Hamburger steak and baked potato. We both get a salad with awesome homemade ranch dressing. It is a very friendly atmosphere and a perfect place to go after football games as well. They are known for... More

The iced tea. The hushpuppies. The vegetables. The pie. A nice waitress who called me "Hon". Sweet home Alabama, I'm happy to be back. Thank you, Lloyds.

Good food, good prices and good staff. Family friendly place, a little short on ambiance but still one of my favorites. Just good home cooking kind of Southern food. The place has been around for ever.

Our 1st (and last) trip to Lloyd's. First, our waitress was super nice! And if you love iced tea like I do, Lloyd's has some of the best tea! But the food was not that good at all. Everything tasted very very plain and unseasoned. From the grilled chicken to the french fries.....no salt or seasoning! If you want a... More
