We got to Kali by accident and it was the best possible one. Family konoba with homemade food, with warm and cosy character and warm people. Beside excellent and fresh food we were served with some local and regional history, got to try some homemade products that they export even to London. Highly recommended!

Everything was amazing. Mama cooking in the kitchen lucky for us her husband and son took care of us out front. This is Croatia s best hidden gem. We have been all over this past week and it was exceptional. Now let's talk about the view. You will not be disappointed. If you are I will personally pick up the... More

We arrived based on the suggestion of our landlady. She was very enthousiastic about the dessert (with chestnut and ice cream), so we had a try. The owner was very sympathetic, a wonderfull person who suggested the right dishes (wait to order a main dish till after the ravioli, because dessert is important...). And he was right, also with the... More

What a lovely place! After recovering from walking up the hill we enjoyed a very tasty meal, happily we took the waiter's recommendation on what each of us might like and he was spot on. An added bonus was the view of the full August 'blue' moon and its reflection across the bay as it rose this evening.

Excellent place to visit, nice view on the sea. Great hosts...domestic great food...especially home made paste with truffles...and fig cake... We had a great time there, and surely sooner or later want to visit the place again.

We had dinner here with our kids, the spaghetti with snailes, one sea bream, ravioli with seafood, fish soup, beaf with grilled vegetables and spaghetti with scampi. The fish was really fresh and nice. The other dishes were good, though the snailes were actually a teeny tiny bit slimy. Prices were reasonable (for the area, everything from Opatjia to M...... We noticed Konoba from the crystal clear waters while swimming. Went a short walk up to the place and enjoyed thoroughly! Setting is unique, in a deep shade of old trees, sweeping beach views, very friendly service, and delicious food. We tried Buzara of mussels, Buzara fish mix, squid with blitva ( chard). Compliments to chef!!!! Reasonable prices and on... More

After conquering the scary access road we were rewarded by a warm welcome and excellent food. One of the owners Ante Bistre served us while telling us a little about the restaurant and the products his family business grows and markets. They produce olive oil, figs, chestnuts and truffles for export to the Borough market in London, stores in Scotland... More
