Carlos, the owner is a special character and has kept his restaurant - bar - hangout original. Food is great, the ambiance excellent - a place to meet people while enjoying a fantastic paella.

Love to talk with a glass of wine while eating different "tapas" or a thinly cut "jabugo". Paella, the traditional rice meal with various ingredients according to the zone should have been on the list and expected served. However, it was neither the variety nor the taste or quality expected; total disappointment.

This place is not elegant but at the same time very autentic...you feel like in a Tapa Bar in Madrid or in any spanisch Village . food is very good and prices are reasonable. A lot of old memories, fotos and a little caotic decoration makes this place unique...i like it

We I my had the paella but it was delicious!!! Service as great and environment lovey. Plus they had good beer from Cuenca. Which in Ecuador.:: you never get good beer. So that was a huge deal! Would love to go back and try other dishes. :) .... Side note..... A bit pricey. But worth it.

I was not genuine Spanish cuisine. Very poor selection of vines. Service was ok but nothing special at all.

6 dollars for a small bottle of Heineken, 10 dollars for 5 slices of salami. Beers are not on the menu so I assume prices are set according to the customer. Not worth your time.

Since they were not, we had a late lunch there today. It would have been nice to have been hungrier and tried more dishes. We arrived around 2:30, about an hour before they close, and were immediately seated. I ordered a glass of red wine (followed by a second) and my wife had two glasses of sangria. Both were good,... Delicious tapas with a range of beers and wines at different prices (something not to common in Ecuador). The portions are big enough to share 3 tapas between 2 people and leave feeling nicely full. By far the best food we found in this particular area of Guayaquil. It's a 4 and not a 5 because they close early, so... More
