They have the best ceviches I have eaten anywhere. They have several varieties. And they are all excellent.

We were there for a dinner the food is really not amazing for the price we paid. I took a ceasar salade for 10$ and for the price there is neither chicken inside. I don't understand how this restaurant can be in the top 10...More

Too expensive for the meal you get. In the last 3 months there have been 2 price increases. A Wish uses to cost $11 And now $17, its absurd. A glass of juice $6, bottled water $4. Much better options for acceptable prices .More

I thought it would be better for the price. It used to be a very famous and known restaurant but buffet breakfast was just fine

Although priced higher than average, the taste, quality, and cleanliness of the food here is excellent. At peak times on weekends you may have a short wait for a table. I've tried the Seco de Gallina, Ceviche de Camaron, Carne Asada con Menestra...they're all excellent.

The food is good but not excellent, it could get better. There should be more typical food dishes. And the attention of the waiters should improve

My family and I enjoy a lot this restaurant because of its very varied menu which include both international and Ecuadorian typical dishes. It is right in the heart of the city snd waits on the 24 hours.

Description
“La Canoa” has become an icon for tourist and locals alike who wish to sample and discover the best of the authentic local fare, Ecuadorian food at its finest. We receive an average of 48 thousand visitors each year; this year we will have awarded 11,315 days of straight, un-interrupted, 24 hour attention which is truly a record in the city’s Gastronomical circles.
At “La Canoa” you can enjoy a buffet breakfast in Native Fashion or American style with a wide choice of tropical fruits, cereals, dairy products, sausage and meat products, without overlooking an old Guayaquil habit of starting the day with a “caldo de salchicha” or sausage soup or encebollado de albacora” which would be a tuna soup. These cannot be passed up!
