Guru da langar is the most yummy meal you will ever have and the simplicity with which they cook the food and the dedication with which the volunteers help serve the worshipers is unparallel

Unfortunate that it is listed as a Restaurant when it is actually "free meal kitchen" within Harmandir Sahib/Golden Temple complex that serves delicious & healthy local meal prepared by volunteers to everyone. Thanks to it, no one ever sleeps hungry in Amritsar..

But its not the food, it is the experience that should drive people to go here. Take some time to look into the kitchen and dishwashing area where... More

Guru da langar is awesome. Its within Shree Harmandir Sahib complex, where every one is welcome. Its just amazing to see how systematic it is. Beginning from the queue to plating to serving to cleaning dishes, its flawless. All volunteers are working round the clock with only one objective, to feed the devotees. I would not comment on the taste... More
