My wife and I never go to the same place twice on vacation so we can try as many places as possible. This place is the exception to that rule. It was so good, and the atmosphere was so much fun, that we had to go back a second time. Our meals were excellent both times, and I would absolutely... More

As soon as we stepped in the place, which has no walls, there was a very strong bad smell. The food had no taste and seemed like it was cooked just for the sake of saying they had cooked a meal. The staff was friendly even though they were lazy. We had the pad Thai which had a taste of... More

We went to Ko Kai and ordered drinks and cocktails, and then it took 30 minutes to get it to the table ! They had a wine list of 15-20 wines, but they didnt hold any of them ! The cocktails tasted notttt good at all. We decided to not eat, but one other table did and they told us... More

Leave your shoes at the entrance and find your table upstairs. Choose from a very substantial menu. Good food at average prices. Paid a return visit and the food was just as good.

Wonderful food (we tried yellow curry, tom kha, spring rolls, etc)! Every dish worth its price (btw prices are the same as everywhere in Klong Nin beach area). Very helpful and accomodative staff! BUT: don't buy sang som bucket - its just waste of money (expensive - 320 baht) - too little rum, too much ice, simply will not get... More

Staying on Long Beach Ko Lanta for 19 nights we had plenty of time to try a few local places, so we used the TA reports as a guide. So we called in here after reading the TA reviews and opted for Spring Rolls, Garlic bread, satay chicken to start followed by Shrimp sizzling plate, Beef in Oyster sauce with... More

Out of all the places in koh lanta, this is probably the least attractive one. There was some weird smell as we entered. The food wasnt great either, we had pad thai which we couldnt finish because it was sticky and the sauce wasnt good. The orange juice was not fresh when we asked couple of times if it was.... More

Cook kai was outstanding!!! their steamed fish was sooo goood- and the masaman curry with lamb- wow. Also the pork laab. I ate their 3 times and it was great every time. But on the last time the green curry was a little too pale - lacked spice, which is why i had to get rid of one star. I... More

The price in a restaurant on Lanta is expected. This one is also acceptable for the quality and portion. If I need something a bit fancy than Mr.Green nearby I just go to Cook Kai.
