I visited the Irish Embassy Pub last week with my brother in law in order to have a good beer experience beyond the ever present pilsner you get in Koh Lanta (whether you call it Singha, Chang, Tiger, Heineken the difference is very small). An Irish pub! I dreamed of a cold Kilkenny or maybe even an IPA or pale... More

Had the Embassy Burger. Unlike other typical burgers, buns accounted for 30~40% of the thickness. The beef patty was ok, but it seriously lacked fresh vegetables. Not worth of 230 baht at all. And the price of coke was too high (50 baht vs. 30~40 baht in other restaurants vs. 14 baht in 7-eleven).

Was so looking forward to our meal after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, being served packet mashed potato and a chilli with no real hint of spices was disappointing. The best part of the night was the live singing duo who were great

It's a rather small bar offering beer (of course), but good food (dinner) as well. A place where many people from Europe meet each other - popular for bag packers. Once a week live music.

I don't often eat a lot of western food whilst I am traveling mainly because of the prices they charge for it but this place is an exception. The food here is amazing, big portions for low prices. I had the fish and chips and it was the best I've ever had. I also came here for quiz night which... More

The fried chicken fingers were the best thing we ate on Koh Lanta (and we love Thai food!). Tues night you get a free beer with a burger, which was also good. It's a fun bar with live sports and quiz nights.

Me, my mum and wife decided to treat ourselves to a slap up meal at the Irish Embassy last night. From what I gather the owners have put 10 years hard work into the place and it shows. Definitely the best pub grub I've come across in Asia, the attention to detail was impeccable. As my mum as a Dubliner... More

Came here for food after training and got stuck in a thunderstorm, the food tasted amazing and we played pool and darts while the torrential rain stopped us from driving the scooter. Staff are all amazing and friendly, will return to here again
